The Nova 1600SE/SBox 1000 is compatible with any SPARC workstation or server with SBus running Solaris 2.6, 7, or 8.

Many computer manufacturers have reduced the number of expansion slots to keep costs competitive. However, the limited expansion capability is often insufficient to meet the needs of users in applications requiring specialized add-on processors. The XP-7R addresses this need in a cost-effective manner.

The XP7-CP is a CompactPCI card that installs in any 3U or 6U CompactPCI slot and connects to our seven-slot XP-7R PCI expansion chassis without adapters via a proprietary cable with 68-pin connectors. The XP7-CP is a PICMG 2.1 compliant, 5v, and 32-bit/33 MHz card. It is operating system independent and does not require hardware drivers or software to operate.
