650 Series

The 650 Series of 2U MicroTCA Systems is an economical solution that provides MicroTCA and AMC features into a low profile 2U Horizontal 19" rack mount chassis. The chassis comes in two standard configurations: a) one MCH and 9 full-height, single-width AMC's or b) one MCH, 6 full-height, single-width and 6 half-height, single-width AMC's. A range of other customizable configurations for single and double width, full and half-height Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC) slots can also be achieved. The 650 Series features a 6hp MicroTCA Carrier Hub (MCH) and a 12-port backplane with base fabric connectivity that supports the AMC.2 1000BASE-BX fabric and SATA backplane connectivity. Push pull cooling thermal management provides 40 watts per AMC slot. An intelligent fan controller board monitors and controls fan speed based on inlet and outlet exhaust temperatures. AMC power control is provided by a rear-mount MicroTCA Power Module that is coupled with a low cost 600 watt universal input AC power supply. The 650 Series systems are designed to meet: RoHS, FCC Class A/B, UL 60950, and CE requirements and is ideal for applications in VolP nodes, modular telco line units, Ethernet hubs, Wi-Fi and Wi-Max radio boxes.

716 Series

The 716 Series is available in standard ARINC sizes that include 1/2 ATR Short to 1-1/2 ATR Long and any custom form factor required. The 716 Series will accept all bus structures and platforms from the stability and solid performance of the VME, VME64x, VXS and CPCI architectures, both in 3u and 6u form factors. The 716 Series is one of several offerings in the ATR product family. Designed as a straight conduction cooled chassis the 716 Series can be configured as an Air-Over Conduction similar to the 717 Series. However, the 716 Series offers a lighter weight option to the dip-brazed 717 Series. Designed as a light weight alternative, the 716 Series is geared to meeting the stringent weight requirements for airborne applications, but also maintain the flexibility in configuration. Constructed as a frame the conducting walls can be machined in a variety of patterns from vertical and horizontal finned to an array of geometric patterns that optimize the surface area for maximum heat transfer. These side panels can also be machined to accept a folded fin core used in an air-over conduction arrangement, when configured with an external fan will maximize the thermal transfer. The 716 Series can be configured with an optional avionics tray for isolation from shock and vibration environments common to airborne, vehtronics and shipboard applications.
