Brockton, Mass. – SIE Computing Solutions, Inc., an innovative leader in the design and manufacture of open architecture based computing platforms and system packaging for rugged environments, announces that it has hired Ian Day to assist in the company's growing business development pursuits in the United Kingdom, as well as to consult with SIE Computing Solutions’ engineering teams on standard ATR, VPX and new technology products. Mr. Day brings over thirty years of severe environment enclosure technology experience to SIE Computing Solutions, Inc. His experience includes working for the British Military VME program in the mid-90's where he designed, developed and qualified all severe environment enclosures, including Mil Spec power supplies, backplanes, and air-cooled and conduction-cooled enclosures for the military and industrial market. More recently, Mr. Day served as head of R&D for ELMA UK, the European Centre for Severe System Products.
