Chris Boutilier, President
Chris Boutilier began his career at SIE Computing Solutions in 1989 as an engineer and has held various positions in manufacturing engineering, sales and operations. In 1989, he led the effort to open the company's Nevada facility, where as general manager he introduced new processes and grew the organization to 40% of total sales. In 2005, Mr. Boutilier returned to the East Coast as chief operating officer and was promoted to president of the Computing Solutions Business Unit in April 2006.
Mark Sullivan, Chief Financial Officer
Mark Sullivan joined SIE Computing Solutions in November 2004 as chief financial officer, bringing over 20 years of experience in all levels of corporate finance.
Prior to joining SIE Computing Solutions, Mr. Sullivan was director of finance for the Switching Division of Tekelec, which acquired Taqua, Inc. in early 2004. During his tenure at Taqua, a provider of next-generation Class 5 packet switching platforms for telecom service providers, he held management positions responsible for the day-to-day finance operations and assisted the company in raising in excess of $120 million from top-tier venture capital firms prior to its acquisition. Before Taqua, Mr. Sullivan was director of corporate accounting for Instron Corporation, where he was responsible for consolidating the worldwide operating results and SEC reporting and assisted with the subsequent leveraged buyout by a private equity firm.
Mr. Sullivan holds an MBA from Bryant College in Rhode Island and a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
James Tierney, Vice President of Sales
Jim Tierney joined SIE Computing Solutions in July 2006 as vice president of government systems, bringing over 20 years of experience in the electronic packaging industry. In July 2009, Jim was promoted to vice president of sales with complete responsibility for all sales activity of the organization, including development of both the company's and manufacturer's representatives' sales force.
Prior to joining SIE Computing Solutions, Mr. Tierney was president of Miltron Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of U.K.-based Mektron Systems Ltd., which specialized in the design and manufacture of rugged embedded enclosure systems for the military market, from 1999 to 2006. At the start-up, he was responsible for the development of the sales channel and marketing efforts designed to position the Miltron brand as a premier solutions-based product for top tier subcontractors for the military.
Jim previously spent 17 years with SIE Computing Solutions in both engineering and marketing management roles prior to joining Miltron Systems.
Jim holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Stonehill College.
