This position reports to the engineering manager and is responsible for the design of electronic packaging products, both commercial and military.Requirements:
Requirements/Responsibilities:· BSME preferred with 5 – 7 years related experience required.- A solid working knowledge of electro mechanical products and/or ruggedized electronics.
- A solid working knowledge of military specifications and certifications is a plus.
- Ability to operate a CAD system (preferably Pro/E Wildfire and Pro/E Sheet Metal), including but not limited to, the creation and
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ensure design integrity of projects meet SIE customer and industry standards and specifications.
- Coordinate design concepts and efforts on new and existing products.
- Provide scheduling reports, cost estimates and testing to appropriate personnel.
- Responsibilities include customer and manufacturing interface, project management and working knowledge of military specifications.
